Welcome to Court Watch #104. It’s a tough time for would-be American terrorists who like to travel. The bug light of ISIS that attracted tens of thousands of people to their so-called Caliphate in 2014 doesn’t have the same ability and infrastructure to intake recruits as it once did. al-Shabaab, the terrorist organization in Somalia, has a history of not being particularly welcoming to at least some American recruits. Nowadays, if you’re in the United States and want to join a terrorist organization overseas, you have to be creative.
